Community guidelines

Genvilo works because everyone here has agreed to keep it kind, honest, and safe. These are the standards every verified member signs up to — and how we enforce them.

Be real

Use your own recent photos and honest details. You've verified your face to join, so let your profile match it: no impersonation, no fake ages, no profiles run on someone else's behalf. One person, one account.

Be kind

Disagreement is fine; cruelty isn't. No harassment, hate speech, threats, or insults — and no unsolicited explicit content, ever. If someone unmatches or doesn't reply, that's an answer; pursuing people across the app or off it is harassment. Treat every profile like there's a person behind it, because there is.

Be safe for others

How enforcement actually works

Every report is reviewed by a person on our team, not just an algorithm. What happens next depends on what we find: minor breaches earn a warning, repeat or serious breaches end in suspension or permanent removal, and the zero-tolerance items above — money solicitation, anything involving minors, credible threats — skip the warnings entirely. Blocking someone is always available to you regardless, it's instant, and they're never told.

Reporting is confidential. The person you report isn't told who reported them, and reporting in good faith will never count against you — even when we look and decide no rule was broken.

The spirit of all of it: show up as yourself, take "no" gracefully, and leave everyone at least as okay as you found them.
