Create a real profile
Answer a handful of prompts and add a few photos. The prompts do the heavy lifting: instead of a bio you agonise over, you answer questions like “The way to win me over is…” or “We'll get along if…” — small windows into who you actually are, not just how you look. Three photos minimum, six at most; enough to be seen, never a wall of selfies.
Get verified
Before you appear in anyone's discovery, you take a quick selfie and a short live video, and a human reviews it. It takes a couple of minutes and it's why Genvilo has no bots and no catfish: everyone you'll ever see here has proven they're a real person with the face on their profile. Discover people nearby
We show you verified members near you, with distances in miles and profiles you can actually read. Like a whole profile — or like the exact prompt answer that made you smile. That specificity matters: it tells someone precisely what caught your eye, which is a far better opening than a generic wave.
Match and talk
When you both like each other, you match, and the conversation starts with something you already have in common — the answer one of you liked. No blank-screen “hey”. If it isn't right, unmatching is instant and private; if it is, you'll know soon enough.
What makes it different
Most dating apps optimise for volume: more swipes, more matches, more time in the app. Genvilo optimises for the opposite — fewer, better matches between verified people who chose each other for a reason they can name. Prompts give every match a built-in first conversation, and verification means you never have to wonder whether the person typing is the person in the photos.
