My greatest strength is…
Skip the job interview. Tell the human truth.
How to answer it
The trap is answering like a CV. The win is a strength that matters at close range: what are you like to be around, rely on, or sit next to in a crisis? A little self-aware humour keeps it from sounding like a performance review.
Example answers
“Finding the restaurant everyone is happy with. Every time.”
“Staying calm when the plan falls apart — that's when I'm at my best.”
“Remembering exactly how you take your coffee after being told once.”
What to avoid
- "Hard-working" — save it for the recruiter.
- Humble-bragging. Just brag or be humble, mixing curdles.
Why it works: Relational strengths tell someone what being WITH you is like — which is the only question a dating profile is really answering.
