Prompt library · Getting personal
We'll get along if…
Set the tone for the kind of person you click with.
How to answer it
Write the filter, not the fantasy. The best answers name a low-stakes opinion or habit that your kind of person will instantly recognise. Playful specificity works better than a values essay — save the dealbreakers for the conversation.
Example answers
“You have strong opinions on the best pasta shape.”
“You also think the appetiser is the best part of the meal.”
“You'll pull over for a view without being asked.”
What to avoid
- "You're not a serial killer" — retired years ago.
- A wall of requirements. One good "if" is plenty.
Why it works: It gives the right person an easy opening — agreeing or arguing with your "if" is a first message that writes itself.
